Our Location

Our hotel is located in downtown Gatlinburg and is within walking distance of countless top attractions, highly rated dining spots and the best shops in town. However, we’re also just down the road from the Gatlinburg entrance of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the trailhead for the Gatlinburg Trail. Blend the two together and our location is perfect for a vacation balanced with fun, entertainment, shopping, nature and adventures in the national park. That’s not all though, we are also directly alongside the river. Every guest room at Old Creek Lodge has a private balcony overlooking tranquil water flowing from the peaks of the Smokies. Want to watch a beautiful Smoky Mountain sunrise during your stay but you don’t want to wake up too early? No worries! You can be at the overlook on the Gatlinburg Bypass within 5 minutes from the hotel. Guests also find it convenient to use the bypass as a way to avoid traffic when heading into Pigeon Forge for the day. Our Guest Rooms

As mentioned above, all of our guest rooms are located along the river and have private balconies. Within each room you’ll also find a fireplace, walk-in shower, custom hickory furniture, and custom-made beds from Brothers Bedding. The style is rustic and cozy with a home away from home ambiance. We’ve placed a microwave, small refrigerator, coffee maker, large flat screen tv, and more into the rooms to help ensure that guests have a comfortable stay. Our Executive Two Queen Guest Room is an excellent option for families or small groups. The room features extra space, a whirlpool, fireplace, private balcony, large chair, desk area, and extra seating. Couples, families and even solo travelers will love spending time in Our Spa King Suite. With a king-size bed, living area with pull-out sofa, two TVs, a whirlpool, fireplace and private balcony on the river it’s the perfect choice for a week long stay or romantic getaway! We also have Two Queen Guest Rooms and Executive King Guest Rooms to fit the needs of all guests.

Our Story

Our hotel is locally owned and operated and was created to be more than just a place to stay during a vacation in the Great Smoky Mountains and Gatlinburg. Our owners’ wanted the property to be an authentic experience that would become a part of the traditions of families from all over the world. Over the years we have had the honor of witnessing their vision becoming a reality as we have welcomed many guests back time after time. We have been their first couples getaway spot, their honeymoon place and home away from home for family trips and anniversaries. We have welcomed new family members as infants and had the privilege of not only watching the little ones grow up but also seen their love for the Smokies grow stronger and stronger year after year. Here at Old Creek Lodge, we’re family. Our staff, our management, our owners’ and our guests are all a part of the Old Creek family. We also have extended family in the area at Bearskin Lodge on the River, The Appy Lodge, Lodge at Five Oaks and Oak Tree Lodge.
